The Adventures Continue......... Up Next...... Ireland!

It begins again.

So, if you choose to read and follow this, I will endeavor to keep you up to date with our latest adventures.

First to bring you all up to speed.  Two years ago, having briefly returned to Australia after a lovely summer in Sweden, we embarked on another adventure, this time the great United States.

Having always had a desire to come to America for more than just a holiday, circumstances proved to deliver that wish and add to it more than I could have dreamed.  Any fears I had were quickly put to rest by the wonderful people we met everyday.  Then after a few days the clouds cleared and our surroundings came alive with regal beauty.  To look out the windows and be surrounded by wonderful snow capped mountains, breath in the crisp cool air and draw on the effortless beauty that is in every direction.

We have been here for two years and this place and the people have held us up when we have felt the burdens of life weighing us down.  They have helped us to find ourselves and be ok with what we found.  Being here has given us the strength to be the kind of people and family we want to be.

And now we can go forward with our next adventure and I know that we will be fine because we are stronger now than ever before.  So, Ireland.  No much organised yet.  Still finishing off this end of things.

Tomorrow and this weekend I need to get the first run of our suitcase packing done.  Our biggest concern right now, as far as the actual travel is concerned, is JFK airport.  We have two hours to get ourselves from domestic to international terminals.  Sounds easy enough but right now we are considering all kinds of logistics.  Should we each take the 100lb 2 suitcase limit which would mean moving through the terminal with two small children, two adults, 8 large suitcases and the many on board bags we are bound to have.  I do think we should take a wild goat and big bottle of slippery soap mix and a bag of feathers to see if we can be any more crazy.  Just saying.

Ok, so that is all for now.  I am trying to learn from my friends here about living in this moment and not worrying to far ahead.  Life is really good and we are really, really blessed. xxx
